ITEC is aimed at helping the industry in the transition from conventional vehicles to advanced electrified vehicles. The conference is focused on components, systems, standards, and grid interface technologies, related to efficient power conversion for all types of electrified transportation, including electric vehicles, hybrid electric vehicles, and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (EVs, HEVs, and PHEVs) as well as heavy-duty, rail, and off-road vehicles and airplanes and ships.
For 10 years, ITEC has served as IEEE’s premier conference on transportation electrification, fostering connections between industry and academia.
This year, for the first time, IEEE Transportation Electrification Conference and Expo will be joining forces with AIAA/IEEE Electric Aircraft Technologies Symposium (EATS).
The aerospace, aviation and defence industries are invited to Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre for the world’s best airshow to pioneer change, build new connections, engage with thought leaders and get access to unparalleled business development opportunities.
Farnborough International is the go-to destination and organisation for the pioneers of today and tomorrow, famous for delivering world class airshows and events“
34th Congress of the International Council of the Aeronautical Sciences
This conference is all about engaging in a lively exchange of ideas. It will feature prominent figures from Europe’s Aviation and Space sectors, representing academia, industry, research, and policymaking, who will share their valuable insights during the Plenary Talks. The conference will offer a platform for scientists and researchers worldwide to present their latest discoveries across various thematic sessions. These sessions, thoughtfully curated by respected experts, aim to facilitate knowledge exchange and foster collaboration.
Ondrej Kotaba shared the news and interim lessons learned of the PROJECT NEWBORN on October 9th, 2024.
On Oct 10th, Ondrej further participated in the panel discussion on Alternative Propulsion moderated by Dr. Jean-Francois BROUCKAERT, Head of Technology Office at CAJU.
The vision of ECS is to be recognized as the steward of electrochemical and solid state science and technology. By creating uninhibited availability of the science through open access, ECS can Free the Science, and accelerate scientific discovery and innovation, leading the community as the advocate, guardian, and facilitator of our technical domain.
Electric & Hybrid Aerospace Technology Symposium (EHAT)
The two-day event will cover all aspects of aerospace activity, from general aviation, eVTOL and smaller regional aircraft to larger commercial airliners. Its purpose is to highlight the fast-paced development of hybrid propulsion, electrical subsystem architecture and more electric aircraft, and to discuss the vast research into the increased electrification of aircraft and the possibilities and challenges that brings.
International Conference on Electrical Machines
At Electro Instal Expo you will be able to see live the latest technological solutions related to electrical engineering, including power devices and systems, lighting, automation and renewable energy. The event also gives you the opportunity to learn about the latest trends in production automation and intelligent building management systems.
2024 IEEE International Conference on Electrical Systems for Aircraft, Railway, Ship Propulsion and Road Vehicles & International Transportation Electrification Conference (ESARS-ITEC)
The aim of the Conference is to promote a Forum, where people involved with electrical systems problems may compare their experiences and present solutions found for actual and further requirements.
The NEWBORN 3D model was exhibited at the Clean Aviation Annual Forum (CAAF2025), held on March 18-19 in Brussels, Belgium.
The event served as a fantastic platform for showcasing innovative advancements, and we are proud to have contributed to it.
The NEWBORN model represents a significant advancement in our efforts to develop an air-worthy hydrogen fuel cell, addressing critical challenges in sustainable aviation and driving improvements in energy efficiency.
From June 16 to June 22, the aerospace industry gathered in Paris, and we are thrilled that our groundbreaking Fuel Cell Stack was showcased at the CAJU booth, located in Hall 2A – B276.
This fuel cell stack, produced by PowerCell Group, represents a significant step forward in clean and innovative energy solutions, developed through the PROJECT NEWBORN, financed by the EU’s Clean Aviation program.
On the first day of the air show, we had the honor of welcoming EU Commissioner Apostolos Tzitzikostas to our booth. His visit affirmed the importance of our project and the European Union’s commitment to advancing sustainable energy technologies in aviation.
The Newborn stack is a PEM (Proton Exchange Membrane) fuel cell stack platform for aviation applications with a single stack power output of >300 kW and a possibility to interconnect several stacks for power output in the megawatt scale.
The demo exhibited at Paris Air Show is built by PowerCell Group and the final demonstrator stack will include the PowerCell Fuel-Cell and a Cell Voltage Monitoring (CVM) unit provided by Fraunhofer IISB.
